Your information are also used for communicating with you about your certification and sending you newsletters on our products / services, as well as other forms of marketing communications by us. We may also use your information to improve our services, perform analytics, and prevent fraud.

Maintenance Interludes

The Tests, Courses, or any other type of content provided on the website has been created, checked, and reviewed by a team of experts with the help of artificial intelligence; however, the website does not take any responsibility for any errors and discrepancies therein. The whole or a part of content can have some inadvertent errors in the form of technical mistakes, miscalculations, misquotes, misrepresentation, typographical slip-ups, or other factual anomalies. Results

GECB shall be the exclusive owner of the results and assessments of the various tests and quizzes. These results and assessments are compiled by a team of experts and shall be final. No one shall have any right whatsoever to challenge our results and assessments.

Modes of Payment

We accept payments (for our products/services) via all credit and debit cards, PayPal, or other modes that we may acknowledge from time to time. Dispatch of Certificates

The candidates who have passed their respective tests are sent their digital certificate. The hard copy certificates can also be sent via registered air mail. Additional costs may apply as mentioned on the website. They are sent at the addresses the candidates provide us while registering for the test. Depending upon the country of residence, the certificates reach the candidates usually within 4 – 8 weeks of their passing the test. However, we shall not be liable for any postal delays and non-delivery or non-receipt of the certificates due to the reasons beyond our control.

Refunds

In case GECB or the other party becomes liable to pay any compensation with regard to any infringement of the terms and conditions, contract, warranty, etc., the compensation shall not exceed an amount that is overdue.

Termination of Services

We presume that the information the User is providing us is true and correct. In case, we detect any discrepancies in the information provided to us, we shall immediately terminate the User’s subscription to our services.

Merger and Collaboration

We are free to take any decisions as per our business requirements. In case our company has a merger or collaboration with any other company or companies, there can be certain changes in our terms and conditions. We shall endeavor to inform all our registered users about any such changes. However, you are advised to keep reviewing the terms and conditions from time to time.

Policy Modifications

GECB has the exclusive right to change, modify, amend, or revise all or any part of its current terms and conditions, temporarily or permanently. The changes made shall come into effect immediately. The GECB provides online sale of its products and services to the corporate users. The GECB Corporate Terms of Service includes the following:

We use your personal information for your registration, purchase of our products/services, and other service related issues. We do not and shall not share your personal information with outside parties. There shall not be any misuse of your personal information. Neither shall we sell your name, contact number, address, e-mail ID, or any other personal information to any individual or company. However, the Customer allows GECB to use a limited, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and worldwide license to use its trademarks. This usage will be limited to marketing and advertising the GECB products/services. In case of any legal or governmental enquiry, we may disclose your personal information to the government or any other legal authority as per the law.
• GECB willingly sells its products/services to the Customer who has willingly agreed to buy and use the same as per the Terms and Conditions as mentioned herein.
• The products/services sold by GECB to the Customer shall be used only as per the Terms and Conditions delineated herein. Any use or misuse contrary to the Terms and Conditions shall be construed as a Breach of Conduct.
• All GECB products/services shall be sold as per the GECB Fee Structure as explained on the website or as communicated to the customer/client. Any customer buying our products/services as an individual shall be making the payments in US dollars via Credit card. However, if you are a company, you should rather write to customerrelations@gecb.us to request an Invoice providing the company name, country, full address, number of candidates to be registered and the language of their exams (English, French or Spanish). Bank transfers are accepted for companies only. In case the corporate Customer fails to make the payments within the stipulated period, the overdue amount shall be paid at an interest rate of 1% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less. If the Customer shirks from his payment obligations, we may debar the Customer to use all or some of our products/services. However, such an action does not relieve the Customer of his/her liability to pay the dues and fulfill other pending commitments (if any).
• All the taxes corresponding to the Customer’s purchasing GECB products/services shall be paid by him/her as per the laws prevalent in his/her country.
• The Customer shall not try to gain unauthorized access to any or all of the servers controlled (in whole or in part) by GECB.
• Every Customer is provided a personal User ID and password. It’s the duty of the Customers to maintain the confidentiality and security of their respective accounts. Whatever happens under a Customer’s account shall be construed to be done by him/her. Therefore, a Customer shall inform us immediately in the case of any breach of security or unauthorized use of the account.
• Neither GECB nor its Customers shall divulge, reveal, or share any confidential information regarding each other.
• By using our services, the corporate customer accept that we may display its logos on our website or marketing materials as an indication of where GECB-certified individuals work. The presence of these logos on the GECB website does not necessarily imply a partnership or other form of formal collaboration with these organizations.

The Terms and Conditions mentioned herein constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Besides, it supersedes all the previous agreements, proposals, negotiations, communications, representations, and writings between the parties.

These Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon the parties involved currently as well as their respective successors, heirs, and assigns.

Under no circumstances shall a Customer sublicense, resell, assign, delegate, or transfer its rights or obligations under the GECB Terms and Conditions without our written permission.

The Customer shall not copy or use GECB’s Trademarks, Logos, Service Marks, Trade Names, Product Names, Service Names, Content, or any other characters (viz. Graphics, Images, Animations, Logos, Icons, and Links) without our written permission.

GECB as well as its Customers are independent entities. Neither of the two shall represent itself as a partner, agent, employee, or representative of the other.

GECB or any of its subsidiaries, partners, affiliates, owners, employees, shareholders, agents, customers, etc., whether known or unknown, disclosed or undisclosed shall not be held accountable for its Customer’s conduct. Nor shall any of these be liable to pay any fee, penalties, costs, taxes, etc., claimed by any other party affected intentionally or unintentionally, directly or indirectly by a Customer’s dealings and conduct.

In case GECB or the other party becomes liable to pay any compensation with regard to any infringement of the terms and conditions, contract, warranty, etc., the compensation shall not exceed an amount equal to half of the price of the product(s)/service(s) the Customer purchased from GECB.

We presume that the information the Customer is providing us is true and correct. In case, we detect any discrepancies in the information provided to us, we shall immediately terminate the Customer’s subscription to our services.

If either party wants to terminate its association with the other one, both the parties shall pay the overdue payments (if any) and fulfill other pending commitments (if any).

The Products/Services We Provide Are Provided “As Is,” And “As Available,” Without Any Guarantees Or Warranties, Either Express Or Implied. We Do Not Make Any Warranty That The Program As Well As The Products/Services We Offer Will Be Accurate, Reliable, Viable, Suitable, Continuous, Frequent, Repetitive, Timely, Secure, Or Definite. We Do Not Compel, Excite, Or Request You To Use Our Products/Services. We Leave All The Decisions Regarding Using Or Not Using Our Services To Your Discretion.
